Hello and welcome to the webpage for the Coalition of University Towers Residents Working for a Pet-Friendly Policy.

This group consists of shareholders, rent-stabilized tenants and sub-tenants who would like to create a responsible policy that will allow pets to enhance our community.

If you would like to receive listserv mailings on this issue, please fill out this form and respond to the "Welcome" e-mail.

Remember:  nearly 40,000 pets are killed each year in NYC animal shelters.

Let's help University Towers be part of the solution.

The emotional bonds between people and their animals cannot be ignored. Thus it is important for boards to carefully balance building policy with compassion toward their fellow residents. A wise pet policy must be thoughtfully adopted and equitably enforced. If not, apartment residents have the protection of the law behind them."
